This archive contains two articles written by John Pettigrew published in
the February and March 1999 editions of Acorn User.

The author and Steve Turnbull (editor of Acorn User) have kindly allowed me
to reproduce the articles here.

Because no electronic version of the articles survive I have recreated them
by OCR‘ing the originals and then setting out the text in OvationPro. I take
full responsibility for any infelicity introduced as a result. I have also
made some minor changes.
