When you open a Windows Explorer window on the Ovation Pro CD you will see two folders.
DavidPilling
This contains Ovation Pro and associated material produced by David Pilling. It is in short what you're paying for.
Others
This contains Ovation Pro related material contributed by third parties.
Within the DavidPilling directory there are a number of sub directories
Applets
A collection of extension applets
Documentation
Documentation for Ovation Pro.
Extras
Various programs for use with Ovation Pro.
Filters
A collection of filter programs that allow importing text and graphics files produced by other programs.
Fonts
Fonts.
MailList
Collected postings to the Ovation Pro mail list.
OvationPro
Copies of the main Ovation Pro program.
In the Others directory there is one folder for each person or organisation with their name. Inside these standard names have been used.
Applets
Program extension applets.
Resources
Documents, script files, etc.
Dictionaries
Spell check dictionaries.
Filters
Programs that allow importing text and graphics files produced by other programs.
Software
Programs.
Often subdirectories are used to group related files.
You can access files directly on disc, for example double clicking the installer .exe files to install components.
