E3D V6 MountStarted 4th June 2017 Still improving my cheap ebay, clone, CTC Prusa I3, 5 mm plywood printer I moved to using E3D hot ends. This required a new way of attaching the combination of hot end and extruder to the printer. I ended up designing a bracket that attaches to the X axis, bolted to this are a couple of blocks that hold the E3D v6 (as well as the extruder). Finally a part cooling fan was added by slightly changing an existing design [1]. See also E3D V6 Bowden. |
