Before the internet I regularly got padded envelopes of floppy discs from abroad; these were often held closed using bag ties or bag fasteners; the idea being that customs could easily open and reseal them. I ended up using the surplus bag ties for holding wires in place - usually two at a time.

This is a simple design for a bag tie. I printed it using flexible filament.
