At an early stage in my career I sold a disc with a database of points on that made up the continents. Someone gave me an application that produced RISC OS Draw file maps from the data. This was a much better idea than the original disc. Subsequently in 1991 I wrote a new application and bundled it with a new database and gave it the name 'Panorama'. Finally an improved version of the database was licensed.

Compared with the maps now available online this is primitive.
